About Me
I'm Darrell Brayboy, L.Ac., founder of the Center for Preventive Medicine. As a Licensed Acupuncturist, Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), I specialize in functional medicine with a focus on diet, nutrition, and overall wellness.
My journey into holistic health began in junior high when I sought out alternative methods of healing due to chronic eczema. After learning about food and diet as healing modalities, I began a lifelong search into natural healing and integrative medicine.
With over four decades of experience, I am committed to patient education and proactive healthcare management, combining Traditional Chinese Medicine and Functional Medicine to prevent disease and promote optimal wellness.

My Philosophy
At the Center for Preventive Medicine, we believe in an integrative approach to health and wellness. Our goal is to optimize your health and wellness by balancing your entire body, mind and spirit. We’re unique in that we combine Functional Medicine with traditional Chinese Medicine.
Our methods merge thousands of years of Chinese Medicine with twenty-first century medical insights into healing to thoroughly address any imbalances or concerns you may have.
I advocate for listening to one's body and being proactive in managing healthcare. Our goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their health journey, promoting balance, wellness, and transformation.
